PVC fiberglass shielded K-type Kx Kc thermocouple compensation extension wire is a special type of compensation wire with the following characteristics:
Material: These compensating extension cords are usually made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) material and may also be wrapped with fiberglass shielding to improve electromagnetic compatibility and interference immunity.
Temperature range: Type K thermocouple is a commonly used general-purpose thermocouple with a wide operating temperature range, usually -200°C to +1250°C. Kx and Kc are specific types of extended compensation wires whose materials and thermoelectric properties are the same or similar to type K thermocouples.
